The Accountant I assists in day-to-day, month end, and year end accounting and financial reporting functions.

Skills:
REQUIREMENTS:
AA Degree or equivalent prolonged course of study in accounting, beyond high school, which included instruction in accounting principles and theory, financial accounting, managerial accounting, cost accounting, budget control, tax accounting, legal aspects of accounting, auditing, reporting procedures, statement analysis, planning and consulting, business information systems, accounting research methods, professional standards and ethics, and applications to specific for-profit, public, and non-profit organizations.
Minimum two (2) years related accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
PREFERED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting/Finance
