Adult Education Program Coordinator
The Adult Education Coordinator is provides management, in accord with best practices of the profession, contract/grant requirements, and all agency policies and procedures, for an assigned agency program unit or department under the closer supervision of a program manager. Assists the manager in managing the program’s finances and internal and external reports. Supervises assigned staff. Programs supervised by program coordinator include GED, External Diploma, and computer classes.
Qualifications: BA degree in education, social work or related field with 2 or more years of program coordination experience. Excellent written, communication, PC, and interpersonal skills. Cultural competence and cultural responsiveness a must.
EL/Civics (ESL) Program Coordinator
The EL/Civics Coordinator is responsible for operating the English Language/Civics Program which includes recruiting and training instructors and volunteers, maintaining program budget and reports, providing ESL classroom instruction, maintaining recruitment and retention of students, and maintaining relationships with community organizations, other agency programs, and funding provider.
Qualifications: BA degree in education, social work or related field with 2 or more years of program coordination experience. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred. Excellent written, communication, PC, and interpersonal skills. Cultural competence and cultural responsiveness a must.
Parenting Program Coordinator
The Parenting Program Coordinator will operate the “Strong Parents, Strong Families” Program. The Coordinator will instruct parenting classes and perform site visits. Coordinator will maintain partnerships with community based and government agencies and maintain communication with funding sources. Student progress will be tracked, internal and external reports complete, and program evaluation performed.
Qualifications: MSW preferred or BSW with 3 years of family and parenting education experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to demonstrate cultural competence and cultural responsiveness.
Family Support Worker
Responsible for providing specific program services such as employment, housing, case work, or outreach; providing quality client social services in accordance with the standards, values, ethics and mission of the Agency, abiding by the established program policies and procedures.
Qualifications: BA degree in Social Work, Human Services or a related discipline; a combination of education, training and work experience in lieu of degree requirement; clean driving record; willing to use own vehicle.
