Flextronics’ RS specializes in providing customer-facing technical support in retail locations. Around the globe, RS associates consistently deliver a high quality customer experience at the point of sale helping end-customers solve technical issues by troubleshooting and fixing electronics products. Our associates are also trained to upsell complementary electronic products. Today, RS associates are located in over 800 retail locations worldwide.

Purpose:

The Retail Team Leader provides hands-on support, leadership, and direction to technical support team and management of daily service operations.

Principle Accountabilities:

The Team Leader will:
1. Serves as the primary point of contact and managerial presence within a store location.
2. Responsible for all store or on-site operation activities (staff scheduling/coverage, on the job training and development, administration/reporting, etc.). 3. Ensures quality installations, service, and scheduling, in locations where it is applicable. Installers in some markets report dotted line to this position. 4. Provides customer service and customer problem resolution, including customer education and demonstration of cellular phones and equipment.
5. Programs, troubleshoots, tests, and makes minor repairs to cellular equipment.
6. Installs/removes cellular equipment into customer vehicles as needed, and responsible for fleet maintenance as needed by contract.
7. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all shop paperwork and reports.
8. Manages a one-store location. Ensures service delivered to customer meets needs and contractual obligations through the management of operational activity of the team.
9. Extensive use of general software applications as well as specific customer based systems.
10. Perform Mentoring portion of New Associate Orientation, as needed.

Requirements:

Associates Degree preferred or a technical school or typically requires 2+ years of equivalent combination of experience and training in customer service/retail with strong customer service skills.
Leadership experience preferred.
Strong technical aptitude with cellular, retail electronics or automotive experience desired.
Professional, neat appearance
Ability to work retail hours which includes a rotating schedule (overtime is considered a condition of employment and fluctuates with business demand)
Passing of a complete background verification (criminal, high school diploma/GED verification, credit, drug screen) is required. Qualified applicants also must not have any outstanding wireless bills that have not been resolved.
