Provides a variety of support to the Agency and Corporate Human Resources in the areas of recruitment, new hire process, benefits, compensation, employee performance review process, employee recognition program. General oversight responsibilities for employee files, performance appraisal tracking, compliance with licensure, accreditation, and new hire process. May perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for heavy recruiting, maintains accurate employee personnel files in secure location, tracks employee performance appraisals and salary increases. Responsible for total compensation, enrollment, tracking, and education, processes job announcements, tracks applicants and maintains accurate job files in accordance with Affirmative Action Plan, processes and tracks fingerprinting, compliance, and licensure. Review and submit Workers Compensation documents to Corporate HR in timely fashion. Responsible for Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Family Medical Leave coordination process. Processes Personnel Action Forms, review for format and correct information. Processes New Hire paperwork, reviews benefit information and arranges pre-employment screenings. Coordinates new hire orientation process and employee viewing of initial training videos. Tracks applicants, receives applications, and distributes to appropriate hiring authority. Enters data into HR Database, submits Applicant EEO forms to Corporate HR. Tracks and coordinates Employee Recognition for Agency, completes exit interviewing process. Distributes, tracks and processes employee 90-day, 6 month and 1 year satisfaction surveys. Reviews Agency requirements for staffing and Agency related demographics with HR Director to determine recruitment methods. May drive personal or agency vehicle on company business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's in Business or related field or 6 years of Human Resources experience, Generalist or Specialist, 2 years of Human Resources Generalist experience. Knowledge and application of commonly-used HR concepts, practices and procedures including State and Federal laws, valid driver's license for the State of Arizona, proof of insurance and minimum standard 39 month MVR report. Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite including Access. Ability to accurately type 45 wpm, proven strong communication skills oral, and written are clear, concise, and in an organized fashion using appropriate style, grammar and tone. Proven knowledge of numbers, their operations and interrelationships. Proven record of excellent customer service and teamwork.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Additional years of Human Resources experience, Generalist or Specialist, PHR / SPHR, Bilingual, English / Spanish verbal and written.
