We offer exceptional learning opportunities, including paid education time, tuition reimbursement, and loan forgiveness. r n Sterile Processing Technician I r n The Sterile Processing Technician I is responsible for the care and maintenance of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment by performing decontamination, packaging, sterilization, handling and storage activities. The Sterile Processing Technician I is responsible for selecting appropriate cleaning and sterilization methods and maintaining accurate documentation of SPD processes. One year experience in acute care setting or completion of vocational training in sterile processing required. One year experience in sterile processing functions desired. NICHSPDP or IAHCSMM Service Technician ertification desired. Medical terminology, Anatomy and Physiology desired. Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment.
