Direct-Hire Position with leading Shipbuilder.

Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to develop and manage the systems, processes, procedures, and logistics of planning and work order generation for all production operations. This includes implementing departmental objectives that meet the strategic, competitive, and internal needs of the Company, and developing controls and performance measures to assist in the accomplishment of those objectives. The functions of this position include managing product breakdown into intermediate products for all new work, work order generation, work order issue to work centers, data input for all work order information, resolution or production planning-related issues related to information and material, and the development of production planning, production process, and productivity/cost standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree with an emphasis on operations management, industrial engineering, or similar area, or over ten years of substantial and in-depth exeprience and increasing management responsibility in all related areas identified in this job description.
Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability and willingness to work in both office and heavy industrial environments.
