We are seeking talented, multi-dimensional players who are skilled in: user-centered design techniques, working with diverse constituencies of internal and external customers, and who excel in designing rich, visual, interactive solutions. r n   r n   r n JOB SUMMARY r n The senior user experience designer works collaboratively with customers, IT developers, the Ux team, and other product team members to generate usable, consistent, useful and elegant designs for Informatica products. They are expected to be fully proficient in user-centered design. r n   r n GENERAL DUTIES r n A senior user experience designer's duties involve but are not limited to: r n   r n * Design and execution of design projects r n * Contributing as a full member of cross-functional teams to create innovative user experiences for new and extended product offerings r n * Helping drive user and vision-keeper interviews r n * Synthesizing research into a coherent set of ideas that describe product user experience r n * Creating information architectures, user interaction models, wire frame screen flows, prototypes, design briefs, design specs and guidelines r n * Helping to influence product teams and the organization to achieve solutions that are right for our users r n * Fostering a fun, creative, collaborative spirit r n   r n EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS r n * A minimum of 4 years experience in user interface design for software, with experience in software applications for desktop or rich internet applications r n * Bachelor's degree in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Design, Engineering Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters preferred. r n * Demonstrated experience conducting a user-centered design project r n * Experience designing tools for IT developers including Eclipse, Visual Studio, BPM, Visual modeling, etc. r n * Generate design concepts and carry these through to production detailing r n * Ability to develop and communicate User Experience design guidelines, templates, and standards r n * Working in cross-functional teams that include product management, engineering, marketing, and other UI professionals r n * Proficiency with prototyping tools such as Fireworks, Photoshop, Visio, Flash, etc. r n * Understanding of formative and summative user research techniques r n * Excellent written and verbal skills r n * Direct software development experience is a strong plus r n   r n CONTACT r n Please send your resume (URL, PDF, Text, or DOC) and portfolio (URL or ZIP file) to Madhu Manmadkar (
