The Zune team is embarking on the mission to create a "Connected Entertainment" experience, realized through the Zune service, that spans multiple devices such as Zune, Xbox, PC and Mobile phones. We are a rapidly growing, V1 product team with great opportunities for motivated individuals who can hit the ground running! This position is for an SDET to drive test development, writing high quality code that will enable automated testing of new entertainment features. The position requires an individual to be comfortable with jumping into a project in its early stages and driving execution while surrounded by new technologies and emergent feature areas. Additional Qualifications 4+ years of professional testing and/or development experience Strong programming, debugging, and problem solving skills in C/C++, C#, and/or the .Net Framework Self-starter with relentless focus on getting things done Proven history managing feature work through at least one full software product development life cycle A minimum of 2 years shipping software experience in a test development role Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower The ability to work within product teams and across product groups Passion for engineering excellence and learning Responsibilities include: Drive test strategy and development for a given feature area Effectively resolve issues and stick to a development schedule Coordinating with peers in related groups
