Location: Ohio Web Methods & XI Integration/Architect is responsible for maintaining the market awareness, and is networked internally and externally. The Integration Developer is accountable for keeping up to date on new and emerging developments in IT solutions. This person will identify opportunities to integrate new technology with the current environment to address business opportunities.
The successful candidate will bring direct experience in designing, implementing and providing troubleshooting operational support for integration solutions using middleware technologies such as SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI), and also known as SAP Process Integration (SAP PI), web services, and extract, transform, load (ETL) technologies. Experience with developing and/or interfacing with other integration tools, especially webMethods for enterprise application integration (EAI), is a plus. This role requires cross-functional teamwork and a good understanding of business and business processes. A good working knowledge of the backend enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SAP is essential and PeopleSoft, and translation packages such as Gentran:Server are valuable.
Job Responsibilities
? Match the technology that is being delivered is aligned with the 3-5 year IT Roadmap.
? Ensure the support and sustainability of all technology solutions is engineered in the design stage.
? Works with the Solutions Architects in Supply Chain, Finance, Customer and Sales, Capabilities, and Sourcing teams as well as other IS leaders in the development and ongoing sustainment of the 3-5 year IT Roadmap for the clients technology environment.
? Work with Supply Chain Technology Solutions, businesses leaders, process leaders, and project teams to identify and define integration opportunities for the appropriate technologies.
? Maintain an awareness of the business strategy in order to identify opportunities to apply technology solutions to upcoming business problems.
? Facilitate project teams to address the feasibility of technology solutions.
? Take a leadership role in applying the appropriate technology to the opportunity
? Identify technical and implementation risks associated with a technology solution.
This position may also involve participation in some or all of the following:
? Matches the business requirements with technical requirements during design of integration solutions.
? Work with solution architects application developers and technical programmers on technology selections and building and testing prototypes of proposed new solutions.
? Provide work, resource and time estimates to project managers and/or E-Business Consultants.
? Provide developer-level expert support (detailed problem analysis, troubleshooting and coding changes if necessary). The expert support is the Level 4 support in a 4-tier operations support model, with the tiers 1 to 3 respectively providing Primary, Secondary and Consultant level support.
? Work with external service providers and suppliers providing technology and application solutions to manage/ support integration systems.
? Create and maintain documentation of working of integration processes, systems or products
Areas of technical expertise that apply to this role also include an understanding and participation in some or all of the following:
? Enterprise applications software (BroadVision, webMethods, SAP, PeopleSoft)
? Business process management and monitoring software (ARIS, SAP)
? Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access)
? Client operating and application systems
Qualifications and Work Experience
? 3-4 Year College/University Degree Required
? SAP XI/PI Certification Preferred
? A minimum three (3) years of experience in EAI Technology is required.
? A minimum of two (2) years of SAP XI/PI hands-on experience is required.
? Experience in the later SAP releases (NW2004s) is preferred.
? Exposure to WebMethods is preferred.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
