Comcast Interactive Media (CIM) Data Services is looking for an exceptional manager to build and manage our infrastructure tools and test team. Data Services provides the content that powers Comcast's web properties. The group is responsible for the databases that contain this data as well as the software that populates them and the SOA web services that expose the content. The BITT group will be responsible for end-to-end configuration and release management as well as whitebox (unit and integration) testing of all Data Services software. The BITT manager will be responsible for: -instituting and managing internal infrastructure/development and testing environments and testing tools -instituting and managing software build processes and tools -generating test plans for backend software systems and databases -writing unit and integration tests for databases, internal web applications and web services -interfacing and working with application development and QA teams, when needed, to ensure comprehensive testing -working with the development teams and technical operations to create an effective software release process -hiring and managing additional BITT staff -develop, manage and maintain quality metrics/reports Required Skills: -At least 5 years experience in automated testing -At least 2 year of development or QA managerial experience -Experience instituting testing and build processes and tools -Experience testing service oriented architecture (SOA) and databases -Experience designing and running web stress and load tests -Experience with software versioning and automated build tools -Strong QA skills: planning, bug isolation, bug report writing, and troubleshooting. -Solid Java/JUnit or .NET/NUnit experience. You have demonstrable skills in building JUnit/NUnit tests. -Ability to automate complex test cases. -BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
