If you are a degreed engineer in Houston, Western Washington or Southern California with a minimum of 5 years experience in refineries and are either a US citizen or green card holder, please consider the following position at a top refinery on the west coast of the US. RELIABILITY ENGINEER **RESPONSIBILITIES** >Championing the identification, prioritizing, and mitigating reliability threats in the Refinery. >Support and conduct risk assessments as needed, >Support Reliability Centered Maintenance and the Investigation process by facilitating investigations, >Collect and analyze refinery reliability performance data. >Other relevant responsibilities. **TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Analyzing refinery reliability performance data, and providing reliability data to refinery personnel, risk assessments, Reliability Steering Team (RST) reviews, etc. - Communicating performance data to the site including site leadership, production teams, and run and maintain organization - Providing updates to RST on Big Hit items closure status and mitigation of other reliability threats - Linking between the Production Teams and the RST Attendance / participating in routine running and maintaining of meetings to ensure Preventive Maintenance (PM)'s, RCM, and other aspects of reliability are represented - Helping link the different facets of Reliability (MPT, PM, RCM, RST, Bad Actor lists, etc.) into one strategy - Helping implement and execute the Mitigate Potential Threats (MPT) Process through the Production Teams - Acting as resource for risk assessment of threats in the database, providing a common link across the organization to help ensure consistency. **REQUIREMENTS**



>>> Bachelor's Degree in Engineering >>> 5 or more years of relevant professional experience in refineries or large chemical plants >>> Knowledge of refining and processes - >>> Computer skills in Microsoft products and database navigation - >>> Good facilitator, excellent communication skills in writing, speaking and presentations- Broad Thinker - >>> Knowledge of analyses for equipment reliability - >>> Proactive and effective problem solving/decision making skills >>> And you may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.
