The County of Mendocino is accepting proposals for the position of Public Health Officer (PHO). Min. qualifications: Graduation from an accredited medical school + 3 years of experience managing either a full service public health organization, large division of such an organization, management of community clinic or other health-related community-based organization. Must be eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of California and ability to possess a valid CA driver's license. Must be eligible to obtain a Controlled Substances Registration Certificate issued by the U.S. Dept. of Justice; and be eligible to obtain Medi-Care and Medi-Cal provider licenses.

The PHO shall serve full time under the direction of the Health and Human Services Agency Community Health Services Director and be appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
