What You'll Do
 
·         Develop and evaluate techniques, algorithms, and tools for analysis and dissemination of Overhead Non-Imaging Infrared (ONIR) data.  
·         Potential for travel and/or relocation to National Capital Area.
 
 
What You'll Need 
 

Bachelors degree in Geography, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field is strongly preferred with 12 years of related experience.  Advanced degree in one or more of these areas is preferred.  
Must have experience with ONIR analysis and requirements gathering.
Understanding of IDL coding, algorithm development and SBIRS knowledge desired. .
In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level will be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience.   R elated experience may be considered in lieu of education.
