What You'll Do Develop radar/EW systems of systems concepts and corresponding requirements and potential implementation designs. Lead the planning for current and future (e.g., inputs to roadmaps) customer technology programs. Create and execute digital simulations to evaluate system concepts and quantify tradeoffs. Develop and test RF simulators/software simulations to assess operation of complex electronic systems within distributed multispectral man- and hardware-in-the-loop environment. Integrate industry- and Government-provided software into a real time distributed laboratory. Develop written material (briefings and reports) on research and development status and progress. What You'll Need BS in Physics, Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred, plus 12 or more years experience. MS or MA degree a plus. Extensive EW, radar, and/or communications systems and simulation software experience. Relevant working level knowledge of interfacing software (e.g., DIS) and military simulations (e.g., TMAP Models, ESAMS, MATLAB/Simulink) in a distributed DoD laboratory/facility environment. Working knowledge and mastery of CASE tools, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, LabView or other high level software languages. Experience with Air Force network centric concepts and warfare, and data link architectures and systems. Ability to communicate effectively with customer and peers both verbally and in writing. In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
