Rich Applications Consulting (RAC) seeks a full-time Web 2.0 developer with the ambition to be more than just a cog in a giant machine. The ideal developer is an avid learner who is excited about web application development and wants significant growth potential. This person must be ready for a job that is hands-on, demanding, and deadline-focused, but that also fosters entrepreneurship, promises on-the-job training, and provides a work environment that allows developers the freedom to work however is most productive for them.

The web 2.0 developer will work in cross-functional agile development teams with teammates who are developers, quality-assurance specialists, designers, and business analysts. They will be responsible for contributing to user interface and back-end programming across a variety of languages.

On the job training, mentorship, and guidance will be a regular benefit of this job, with the developer enjoying regular one-on-one sessions with the Agile Project Leader and Senior Development Specialists.

Job Qualifications
First and foremost, RAC seeks a developer who understands and appreciates object-oriented programming. A bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science is desired. Passion for technology and problem solving is important. Understanding object-oriented design patterns and UI technologies such as CSS, xHTML, and AJAX is a plus.
