Korean Government Invites Undergraduate Students


Position: After-school English teaching position at rural Korean elementary schools

Eligibility
-Overseas Korean residents or English native speakers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, U.K., U.S.A., Ireland, and South Africa.
-Have completed two or more years of education at an accredited college or university.
** Ethnic Koreans who are in their 1st or 2nd year of college/university are also eligible

Duties, Allowance & Benefits
-Six month or one-year contract, starting February 2009
-Teaching hours: 15 hrs/week
-Allowance: 1.5 million KRW/month (approximately 1,300 USD)
-Benefits: Round-trip airfare, housing, settlement allowance, medical insurance, cultural experiences and Korean language acquisition
