The Grow Network currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Portfolio Manager. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Serves as the business owner for 1-4 key client accounts totaling $4-7 mm in annual revenue, managing Senior Project Managers in a matrix environment to adhere to contract scope and ensuring the portfolio meets or exceeds profitability expectations (i.e., gross margin). Meets or exceeds portfolio-specific client revenue targets set at the beginning of the contract year, through selling additional value add services (e.g. contract options and change controls). Ensures contract renewals revenue goals are met or exceeded in partnership with regional sales representatives Drives new requirements, new product ideas, and opportunities for growth in the portfolio through a deep understanding of competition, policy and the client environment. Builds broad and strong client relationships with senior level clients overseeing programs (e.g. Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners), with key stakeholders (Commissioners, legislators, School Board members, community leaders), and with other key clients as needed; ensuring customer satisfaction and creating client advocates of Grow Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred). Strong knowledge of the assessment and reporting educational policy landscape. 5+ years experience managing complex client contracts; ensuring compliance with contract scope, in order to meet or exceed profitability measures. Project management experience in this capacity or PMI certification is a plus. 3+ years experience as a client-facing project or program manager for large scale ($1M+) contracts with a demonstrated history of building new profitable business within existing contracts, preferably in the educational technology space. Proven success in creating strategic client relationships with high-level stakeholders in order to successfully manage client satisfaction and to develop new business opportunities. Strong business acumen in contract management, specifically scope management or adhering to custom contract terms. Proven ability in financial management, specifically in managing multiple projects or programs in order to ensure that a portfolio of business meets or exceeds profitability measures. Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling. Excellent communication skills. Self-starter and results-driven in a high-intensity environment. Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to travel extensively (50%+) to client location
