The position will be responsible for the growth of the Enterprise Risk Management practice by developing strategies, implementing processes, design reporting, and engaging in risk identification, prioritization and mitigation discussion and implementation. Support and oversee the identification and implementation of an ERM measurement and monitoring system. The incumbent will be a key part of the management team working with management and staff across the organization to participate in internal cross-functional projects and activities in the development and sustainment of a risk-based mindset. Job Responsibilities: Identify and resolve key risks based upon substantive business knowledge in combination with expertise in enterprise risk management methodology. Develop business process models to assist in risk management decision-making based upon identified key risks, both specific and general, which exist in our particular organization. Facilitate communications across the organization to ensure cooperative coordination of efforts to promote quality and minimize risk. Provide ongoing governance and guidance at a business unit level (accountability, transparency, prioritization, allocation) for the management of risk teams and activities. Analyze risks from a strategic, financial, operational, compliance and external perspective and developing long term views of trends (historic and forecast) to support strategic decision making as it relates to risk prevention and mitigation. Plan, implement, monitor, and manage the quality and risk programs designed to enhance the quality of processes and products. Drive the development and continual maintenance of a comprehensive business continuity plan. Leverage industry contacts and knowledge to assess and implement best practices in the field. Serves as direct report for management of staff involved in Enterprise Risk Management, Data and Process Quality, and User Acceptance Testing. Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in business/accounting/finance or economics related discipline, or that of Computer Science or Operational Management preferred. At least 5 solid years in a risk management capacity. Strong experience with various ERM frameworks and maturity models. Experience working in a financial services industry necessary. Strong technical knowledge of systems with experience in managing the business risk and impact of the deployment of an enterprise wide mission-critical system. Leadership ability to develop and implement an organizational vision. Experience in business continuity planning, auditing, contract and vendor negotiation.
