Click Here to Apply Online SUMMARY: Oversee the accounting and reporting functions for a public U.S. manufacturing company. RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounting and Reporting: · Hands on management of the accounting operations, including: A/R, AP, and payroll. · Hands on management of the monthly accounting and close process including review for compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies. · Provide financial reporting and analysis of monthly results and updates on forecast. Provide one point of contact for world-wide information, integrating financials from the US (local) and Europe. · Develop financial forecasts and budgets. Consolidation: · Manage the consolidation of financial accounting, forecasting and budgeting processes for the greater corporate company through indirect management of up to three remotely located controllers. Business Partnership: · Provide financial intelligence to the executive team (two business VP’s, Supply Chain VP, VP of HR) by evaluating operating results in in comparison to forecast and budget, reviewing trends and seeking increased profit and asset utilitzation opportunities for the company. · Provide support, as needed, in managing acquisitions by providing due diligence analysis and financial operational integration. Treasury: · Manage operational banking relationships · Manage and forecast cash balances Internal Controls: · Implement and maintain formal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Implement corrective action in response to internal audit findings. ERP System: · Serve as lead ERP system implementation lead for corporate financial structure. · Provide user system leadership to direct staff and remote Controllers. Liasion: · Maintain strong working relationships with internal audit and external service providers. Management: · Manage staff and oversee accounting activities. REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor's degree (B. A.) required · Prior management or supervisory experience required · Sarbanes Oxley experience required · Advanced excel spreadsheet skills required · Manufacturing experience required · CPA or MBA preferred · ERP system implementation experience preferred For every candidate your refer to Walden Recruiting that gets placed in a position by us, we will pay you a $500 cash referral bonus after the guarantee period for the candidate has expired (normally 90 days).
