Senior Buyer - Project Manager

Fun, educational publishing company in Greenville, South Carolina has an immediate need for an EXPERIENCED Happy Print Production Buyer!! Our company develops teaching materials for Speech Pathologists, Special Educators, Occupational Therapists and other Teachers. We have been in business for 22 years and have over 100 employees. Our building looks like a Castle and you become a "Princess" or "Prince" when you join our staff.

What should a Super Duper Print Buyer be able to do?

Source and obtain multi-bids for all print, magnetic, and manipulative projects
Oversee daily purchasing process on all projects
Work closely with artists and editors in product development
Source and obtain bids on office supplies, paper, etc.

Obtain bids and oversee development and production on our 350 page CATALOG and other advertising

Attend trade shows, press checks, etc.


What qualifications do you need?

Experience in sourcing products from CHINA/ASIA/Elsewhere
Must have that 4- year college degree!
Minimum 5 years experience in catalog/print buying
Educational and/or Toy Industry experience a plus
Superior knowledge of postal requirements, specs, and mailing options
Incredible knowledge of 4CP, Spot, Varnishes, Coatings, Foil, and Papers!
POSITIVE, HAPPY, CAN-DO ATTITUDE

This job is Full Time!
This job requires physically being in the "Castle" every day (well, Monday thru Friday). In other words, moving to Greenville, SC
