You should be a strong technical and user experience program manager looking for an opportunity to use your creative ideas, technical knowledge, user empathy, strong cross-team partnerships, and solid interpersonal skills to build that world-class product! Your responsibilities would include working closely with the product planning and product management teams to define innovative functionality for consumers, and driving investigation and defining the device experience for Microsoft services such as Windows Live and entertainment service offerings. You should be ready to work in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment in which strategy and plans will be closely evaluated by executive staff. This job will appeal to the individual who is passionate about delighting consumers and driving innovative and creative solutions. You should be able to thrive in the midst of ambiguity and need minimum direction. Core Job Skills and Requirements: 5-7 years of software development experience as a program manager, identifying customer scenarios and distilling them into innovative features and concise, well-written product specifications. Ability to ramp up on new technologies and new service domains quickly. You should have strong understanding of online services and web services technology, mobile technology knowledge is a plus. Strong negotiation and conflict management skill demonstrated with customers, stakeholders, peer engineering teams, project team members, and partners. Must understand how to influence and impact others. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically about the technical, business and cross-functional issues in bringing new product to market.
