Would you like to be part of the team that is actively looking for those experiences? The Xbox Incubation team is looking for a seasoned, Principal SDE that will help us find that experience. In addition to strong technical skill, this person will need to enjoy being part of a fast moving, high-technology, cross-discipline creative and artistic team. The successful candidate will have solid understanding of the Xbox 360 software and system architecture from the OS, to the dashboard, all the way up to Xbox LIVE interactions. Essential functions: - Real passion for users' experience and the way they interface with hardware/software/services - Experience with, as well as a demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on new technical domains - Passion for technology and expanding the role of gaming and entertainment - The ability to come up with creative and realistic solutions to highly ambiguous problems Desired Qualifications: - Proven ability to help a "start up" organization on their fast track to prototype innovative designs and concepts - Professional coding and design experience with C/C++ - Expertise in one of the following specialist areas: Computer Vision, Computer Graphics or Machine Learning - Passion for playing and developing exceptional console experiences Pluses: - Previous published games - Expertise in a specialist area (such as music, mathematics, physics, networking, or AI) - Experience with Quest3D, Modo, or Maya Education: - A MS in computer science or math, or equivalent experience
