Our platform and UI touch tens of millions of users through mobile operators, governments, universities and small businesses. We see our work in the hands of users by releasing quarterly using scrum to balance doing the right work and having a life. As Director of Program Management, you will work across the team to help set the direction, strategy, and provide leadership to help coordinate technology investments. The successful leader will balance the business, customers, internal partners, and external partners needs to ensure successful development and adoption of Syndication Central. RESPONSIBILTIES: Strategic Cross-Company Leadership - leading and inspiring groups across the company by building out the syndication central vision, messaging, execution plans, measurement and align resourcing. Drive and own Syndication Centrals vNext deliverables across project initiatives (including ideation, vision, definition, hypothesis, launch, iteration) Partner with Product Planning, Principal PM's and peers to move vNext+1 into engineering execution mode. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team peers to evaluate platform requests and lead costing efforts. People Management - build and lead a results driven Program Management teamworking across multiple product groups peers in Office, Mobile and Windows Live. COMPETENCIES: The ideal candidate exhibits the following: Success 10 year record of driving product/services to market with expected results at Microsoft. Technically adept to span key Windows Live, mobile and office technologies engaged with the Syndication Central platform. Visible impact and influence in securing clear deliverables, agreements and relationships in cross team and cross functional environments Drives for results and thought leadership combined with flexibility, agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strength in relationship management and core communications Successful track record in leading teams using agile development methodologies demonstrating above average WHI.
