John Deere Corporate Engineering is seeking a Regulatory Specialist, Emergency Planning and Response to provide center of expertise on air, water, asbestos, refrigerant and waste management regulations, including air permitting and waste management. In this position, you will: Provides center of expertise on air, water, asbestos, refrigerant and waste management regulations, including air permitting and waste management, to provide guidance, direction and assistance to unit environmental personnel. Leads and coordinates unit chemical reporting requirements. Leads, implements and provides support for Legal & Other Requirements, Awareness & Training and Program Standards element lanes of the Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (EHSS). Leads, implements and provides support for all chemical emergency response and spill prevention and response processes within the EHSS. Provides center of expertise on spill and release reporting requirements and chemical emergency response. Maintains close liaison with regulatory agencies. Education BS in Environmental, Engineering, or Science. Required Skills and Experience 10 plus years experience in Environmental Regulations. Ability/willingness to travel (U.S. / International) up to 50%. Expert in air, water, asbestos, refrigerant and waste management, spill and release reporting, chemical emergency response and permitting. Desired Skills and Experience Experience working with governmental agencies. Manufacturing experience.
