Why take your talent and passion anywhere else? Job Overview: ATMI is seeking a Human Resource Representative who is a full-function HR Generalist. This individual will coordinate efforts with the HR Manager in the administration of policies and procedures relating to all phases of human resource activity. The position reports to the Human Resources Manager and will support various client groups located at the ATMI Headquarters based in Danbury, CT. Primary Responsibilities: Implements corporate policy at the business unit level; Supports company-wide programs and initiatives (i.e. career development, performance appraisals, workforce planning, etc.); Resolves employee relation issues through a systematic approach; Counsels employees and managers concerning work-related problems; Assists hiring manager and recruiter with recruitment strategies and participates in screening process to hire qualified individuals; Participates on interview teams and provides feedback to management; Provides full cycle recruitment efforts as required for non-exempt positions; Provides / supports new-hire training and guidance for employees; Maintains confidential HR records; Processes established HR procedures utilizing ATMI HRIS system; Assists HR Manager with general administrative duties as assigned; Collaborates with HR team on special projects. Education/Experience: BA/BS Required; 2-3 year of Human Resource Experience; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
