Job Title Perinatal Data System Operator Category Office Positions Available Site Cooperstown Status PT Shift Days Description Part time, 16 hrs/wk 7a-3p Responsibilities: M aintains the New York State Perinatal Data System for Bassett Healthcare The PDS Operator uses the New York State Perinatal Data System to maintain the hospital perinatal data base, create and process Electronic Birth Certificates, provide reports to the perinatal leadership group Implements the New York State Hospital-Based Voluntary Acknowledgement of Paternity Program for Bassett Healthcare Minimum Qualifications Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience with data extraction, data entry and databases Experience in a human service field desirable Ability to conduct sensitive interviews Strong organizational skills Visual acuity to read medical records and computer screens Category III risk exposure as defined by OSHA GRADE 24 MC For more information, contact Human Resources at 607-547-3120
