Successful candidate will participate on project teams and be responsible for obtaining all licenses necessary to construct and operate new major transmission facilities located both inside and outside California. Such licenses are required from, but not limited to, the CPUC, the BLM, the USFWS, and the USFS. The successful candidate will support, and manage cross- functional teams including representatives from various SCE departments including Law, Regulatory Policy and Affairs, Public Affairs, Transmission & Distribution Business Unit's (TDBU) Project Management Organization, Environmental, Health and Safety, and others. Duties and responsibilities include preparing work plans and schedules, ensuring that schedules are met, developing key SCE policy positions and securing necessary senior management approvals, selecting SCE witness and acting as an expert witness.

General Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience. Typically possess a minimum of five years experience in project management, licensing, planning, operations or in regulatory. Demonstrated experience participating, managing and/or implementing small to medium projects, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the cost, scope, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance. Demonstrated ability to provide project leadership to support and drive project teams to successful outcomes. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of CPCN and PTC processes in California. Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and assimilate complex information in less familiar situations and to systematically gather relevant information from different sources to address a problem or issue. Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes. Demonstrated ability to represent SCE at public stakeholder and regulatory meetings. Must have excellent oral & written communication skills, and be customer focused to appropriately identify and respond to client's business needs, and facilitate the presentation of recommendations.
Preferred Skills:
The preferred candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, Project Management certification and experience in licensing transmission projects at the CPUC and/or other state commissions.
