TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) is a leading provider of mission-critical wireless data solutions to government customers, public safety, and carriers.

TCS produces wireless data communications technology solutions that require proven high levels of reliability. TCS' wireless data offerings include secure deployable communication systems and engineered satellite-based services; location-based wireless and VoIP Enhanced 9-1-1 services; messaging and location service infrastructure for wireless operators; and commercial location applications, like traffic and navigation, using the precise location of a wireless device.

Currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst the will be responsible for:

*Support on-going operational/financial reporting needs
*Perfom day-to-day business systems maintenance tasks
*Support enterprise-wide business intelligence initiatives
*Document processes/procedures relating to operational/financial/business systems
*Assist in ensuring that the current operational/financial/business systems methodologies are compliant with information systems guidelines and industry best practices

The ideal candidate will have:
*Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Information Systems discipline
*2-5 years progressive work experience
*Solid understanding of querying data (including working knowledge of SQL) and creating reports (including functions, prompts, and formatting)
*Cognos Planning (Enterprise Planner, TM1) and Business Intelligence (Impromptu, ReportNet, and Cognos 8) experience preferred
*Sound problem resolution, judgement, and decision-making skills
*Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work efficiently under time pressure
*Ability to work both in a self-directed and team environments
*Excellent customer service skills
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically, Excel and Access)
