Dynamic, well-known design company is seeking a highly talented Senior Interactive Designer with outstanding visual design skills and extreme proficiency with Flash, web design, and Flash programming. In this role, you'll champion the company's brand across various platforms, and you'll be responsible for achieving design consistency across all interactive works.

Big-Picture Responsibilities:
*Working with our Art director to create engaging and exciting visual experiences, interface design, motion graphics, website elements and interactive Flash applications from concept through completion.
* Working with our Art director to create multimedia elements for our website that explain company's value proposition
* Working with our Art director to design animated banners and interstitials that support our marketing campaigns for various customers and in-house projects
* Working with our Art director to build interactive sales and marketing presentations

The Daily Grind:
* Lead prototyping of visual treatments including wireframe layouts and typography, mock-ups and user interaction elements
* Participate in common usability efforts across the company by proactively identifying and exploring opportunities for improved visual consistency and usability design
* Mentor and inspire junior designers to increase their creative standards
* Collaborate with Art/Creative Director to determine overall strategic creative direction within interactive works
* Create, maintain and enforce visual standards and style guides for interactive works that rely on best practices and consistently reinforce company brand
* Collaboratively develop site flows and wireframes that meet user experience objectives
* Develop innovative and simple solutions to complex design challenges and to put these solutions into tangible design

Background Requirements:
* 5+ years of professional interactive design experience with a killer portfolio to prove it (including lots of Flash animation work)
* Proficient with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
* Expertise in all areas of visual design, including color theory, composition and layout, perspective and typography design
* A strong sense of user interface, animation and multimedia design
* Demonstrated experience designing interfaces for the web and other platforms
* Knowledge of current visual design trends including their impact on software design and end user interaction
*Proficient with Action Script 2 and 3, and integration with php and other database standards.
* Proficient knowledge of video integration, compression, and implementation in Flash
* Proficient knowledge of web standards (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript) with understanding of how to design within their particular constraints
* Demonstrated knowledge of interactive authoring techniques, user-centered design methodologies and innovative design practices
* Excellent problem solver and independent thinker
* Ability to work under tight deadlines
