MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:   Work closely and cross functionally with various departments within the CTB/McGraw-Hill organization to learn about a corporate environment.  Must be willing to learn, participate and interact with various levels of management, including the President of CTB!     Focus is on developing individual skills that will enhance your professional development and prepare you for life after graduation!  Experience the rich knowledge of subject matter experts from different departments who help to create a global product that touches the lives of students at various grade and knowledge levels.  Explore the variety of ways your academic achievements and work experience can come together and assist with creating and developing our next generation of products and services!  Bring your ideas and your personal excitement and commitment to a Company that is driven by innovative minds that are helping the world learn to succeed!   
OBJECTIVES:

Develop detailed plans and strategies to improve the current processes within a department  

Develop a detailed project timetable for projected deliverables of processes


Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization and be an influencer

Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Must have strong organizational skills

Polished presentation skills

Willingness to be challenged and take a risk

Desire to make a difference in the Educational world by contributing to innovative thinking and strategies!

DURATION: EIGHT WEEK SUMMER PROJECT. LOCATION: Internship project will be at one of the following CTB locations: Monterey, CA, Burr Ridge, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Nashville, TN. COMPENSATION:  Hourly wage along with housing, transportation and meal plans will be provided. WHO SHOULD APPLY: Must be Junior status or above and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program.  FIELD OF STUDY: Open.
