Attend to the equipment monitoring its conditions, coordinating predictive and preventative activities, and performing minor maintenance. Understands and adheres to all policies, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to safety, health and environmental emphasizing this perspective in their own work and in the work of others. Understands, applies, and continuously learns, knowledge and skills to effectively perform role. Use fact based, structured decision making process to initiate and support appropriate actions. Effectively exchange information, instructions and ideas within own work group and with other cross-functional groups. Team player, works effectively within a group and understands each member's role and responsibilities. Understands and applies knowledge of work processes, policies and procedures to ensure safe, reliable, optimized operation. Recognizes symptoms of an emergency and responds appropriately keeping safety as the top priority. Understand and applies the technical principles that apply to plant operation. Performs adjustments, lineups, equipment surveillance and operator proactive maintenance in an assigned area. Works effectively to coordinate activities with Console Operator. Use computers to access work related information and efficiently perform work assignments. Use a fact based, structured process for resolving equipment and process issues.
