John Deere Construction and Forestry division is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide engineering solutions to short and long term problems in manufacturing equipment. In this position, you will: Directly support production equipment by providing engineering and troubleshooting expertise in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Plan, designate resources, contribute, and lead projects for improving manufacturing equipment. Approve, create, and update documentation for revised or new equipment. Establish preventative and predictive maintenance programs and procedures. Provide training on the operation and maintenance of existing, revised, or new equipment. Temporarily act as a maintenance supervisor in their absences. Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Required Skills and Experience Industrial maintenance experience. Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) experience. Desired Skills and Experience Experience using engineering tools and systems. Work experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems. This position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days and unposted when a qualified pool of candidates is achieved.
