Our Client in New Jersey is seeking a Business Development candidate with a minimum of 5 years experience with freight forwarding, LTL, FTL and home delivery. In order to be considered for this position, you must have logistics industry experience.
The candidate will be responsible for the following: 

New business development 
Prospects for new accounts, via personal visits, telemarketing, direct mail,  etc.
Input to management to respond to changing market conditions, to improve internal efficiency and maximize results.
Maintenance of accounts to established standards.
Oversee campaigns and  visitors' requirements.
Prepares client quotations and presentation of proposals.
Maintains client records.
Prepares sales reports as per company guidelines (i.e. weekly planner, sales calls record, and monthly prospect management report.)
Deep sell existing domestic client base
