This position requires a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Math, or Physics. A secret clearance required. Required qualifications: Experience with embedded controllers, real-time operating systems and modeling complex mathematical systems in 'C'. Experience developing custom hardware to interface to/support embedded processors. Will analyze design, development, integration, and test of hardware and software for simulating forces and feedback on large mechanical actuators. Will perform analysis, design, or test of one or more moderately complex, or portions of complex materials, structural components, and functional systems of the company’s products. Select applicable analytical data from previous products, determine the technical principles involved, mathematically define the problem and compute the engineering characteristics consistent with the specifications, design needs and requirements of other portions of the product. Design and implement a hardware system to simulate the mechanical actuator interface as well as host the software simulation.   Design and implement the software to implement the actuator control laws as well simulate external forces applied to the actuator. Develop and coordinate the conduct of test programs required to evaluate design work.
