A couple of years experience in the three areas (tax, treasury, and insurance) are sufficient.
Priorities of skills:
1) TAX (this will be the main focus of the position - person has to have had experience filing Corporate Tax Returns - State and Federal - experience with Franchise Sales tax & Use tax is a must)
2) Treasury - ability to forcast and manage cash.
3) Insurance -a nice to have, but client is willing to train.
Minimum Requirements:

The main function of this position is tax and tax filing. We are looking for a tax professional who has experience FILING the following types of corporate taxes:
Franchise Tax
Corporate Income Tax - State, Federal
Consolidated Federal Income Tax return
Sales & Use Tax - Multi-state a +
Any International Tax exposure is a nice to have
Ability to think strategically for this company in this respect and help identify tax advantages and refunds that this organization might be entitled to.
The company does not have an internal tax system set up currently, so this person will have past experience with building a process and the opportunity to help establish a process. This person will be extremely autonomous and a needs to be a self starter.

Reports to the Controller
Good communication skills are an absolute necessity.
Must have experience in a tax software (client is open, no specific software mentioned).
Experience and the ablility to do cash forcasting, cash planning. Must be able to read covenants and have good modeling abilities.
It would be a plus if this person has experience handling insurance matters for the organization, including maintaining and quoting insurance values, compliance and regulation, business interruption, liability, worker's comp. Experience dealing with international insurance is a +.
Highly proficient in Excel.
Ability to generate reports for senior management.
Ability to interact with tax consultants, in transition period. Tax will be this role's main responsibility.
Strategic player who is able to bring good ideas to the table.
