Childrens Creative Learning Centers (CCLC) is a offering unique, full-time opportunity for a bilingual Language Specialist at our Cisco Child Care Center! The Role The Language Specialist ideally possesses deep experience working with young children and has a strong familiarity with the principals of Guided Discovery Curriculum. The Language Specialist will develop a curriculum for introducing and supporting the English and Spanish languages in toddler through pre-k classrooms, meeting each classroom group twice a week. He or she will develop and use individual progress tools and record childrens progress at least weekly. As needed, the Language Specialist will also develop and present program documentation for parents and staff.

Requirements & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field Understanding of developmentally appropriate practice in early childhood education and the ability to ensure its use within the classroom 5+ years of relevant experience required Excellent English and Spanish skills: full verbal, listening, and written communication skills required Proficiency in use of desktop computer required Strong organizational skills required About CCLC CCLC is a high quality professional child care organization dedicated to NAEYC accreditation.
