Clean, feed and medicate cats in rescue situation waiting for permanent home. Person must love to work with cats and also understand how to medicate cats including: injections, pilling and administering liquid medications, eye medications, etc.

All medications are dispensed by a vet but person must be able to follow instructions for each animal. Job also includes observing cats & telling someone when any seem to be sick or have a behavioral change.

Job includes cleaning all areas cats live, washing with disinfectants litter boxes & cat carriers. Scooping litterboxes twice daily and refilling as needed. Feeding all animals twice daily. Keeping fresh water and dry food available everyday. Sweeping, vaccuming and washing floors, walls, windows & dishes as needed each day. Playing and socializing with cats as time allows.

Job includes using washer/dryer to wash cat bedding and other supplies such as towels, etc. Some other miscellaneous household duties are also included.

Estimated time 6 to 8 hours a day, 6 or 7 days a week. Suggested hours: 7 AM to 12 noon, 4:30 PM to 6 PM. Job unavailable until March 2009.

1 year prior experience working with animals will be beneficial. Work References required and will be verified.
