RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the department s work load and work quality and supervise department personnel.
Manage the department s strategic planning
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

At least five years of supervising technical personnel, incl. engineers
Must have 15 years of ship design and construction experience.
BS Degree in Mechanical or Nautical Engineering.
Knowledge of propulsion system and of engine and shaft alignment
HVAC design 
AutoCAD
Maritime Regulatory Authorities Requirements such as NAVSEA
Must be US citizen
