The person that is right for this position is a results-oriented individual who will support key account relationships and campaigns. We are looking for a consultative and performance-driven person looking to build on their experience of working across a broad range of marketing mix activities.
Who do we want to hear from?
You are smart, and will be a proactive advocate for your clients. You will endeavor to understand their businesses, their customers, and their goals for every marketing dollar spent. You will invest time in recommending the best projects and initiatives to reach their goals. You'll understand technology - both software and hardware, and you'll understand how this affects a number of industries. If you understand the education sector, it would be a definite plus. You'll come to the agency table with ideas for the most effective messages and strategies for the marketplace. You'll identify research opportunities and key metrics. You'll own the lifecycle of a project and speak for the client at every phase along the way. You'll never accept "no" without understanding why and what other options you can recommend. You'll build relationships in-house and out-of-house and communicate constantly to get the best ideas and avoid any surprises. You'll present confidently. You'll ask tough questions. You'll dig deep to bring back meaningful feedback. You'll share success and shoulder failure and learn from every project. You'll make your client's job easier, better and more effective. You'll know how to support and mentor junior colleagues around you, and be willing to help with their career development. You'll know how to take your job extremely seriously, but be equally comfortable seeing the funny side of things. You will be committed to delighting your client and to doing what it takes to get the job done.
At the very least, you'll be comfortable and capable to: *Act as primary point-of-contact for client *Lead day-to-day management and optimization of campaign activity *Assist in client-strategy development *Deliver a range of marketing collateral, from traditional print material, through to online and interactive *Proactively find new ways to grow business *Manage specialist teams of project managers, designers, copy-writers, editors, and developers as required to deliver client campaigns and projects *Master and maintain vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends. *Monitor agency/client budgets and billing process for accuracy and timeliness.
And you'll also be able to check most of these boxes:
*Bachelor's degree in a marketing or business related field, or equivalent experience *5+ years of business experience *Understanding of the technology landscape - software and hardware *Awareness and understanding of how technology impacts the Education sector *Client-engagement skills *Strong quantitative skills *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Strong Microsoft Office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) *Extremely organized and highly motivated *Strong presentation skills
