The Grid & Wind Plant Optimization Program Manager will be the single point of accountability for the lifecycle of grid integration and wind plant optimization (WPO) products. This individual will be the main product line interface with all cross functional teams to drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and commercialize new offerings that offer customer value. Develop, own, and manage product specs for Wind Plant Optimization and grid integration products. Manage all Grid & Wind Plant Optimization NPI / NTI programs through the tollgate process in coordination with the Engineering Program Managers. Ensure cross-functional coordination on current plant-level activities. Own and manage all technical documentation including product specifications. Coordinate activities with the Technical Operations team in Commercial Operations. Coordinate with Project Management, Product Service, Logistics, Parts & Maintenance, Sourcing, and Manufacturing to integrate their needs into the product strategy and ensure ability to deliver on product offerings. Interface with the other product lines to insure integration into their platforms. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. MBA from an accredited institution. Minimum 7 years professional work experience. Desired Strong analytical skills for defining opportunities in wind plant optimization and grid integration. Strong background in electrical engineering with an understanding in transmission & distribution. Proven program management skills with ability to lead effectively across functions in a matrix environment. GE Leadership program graduate, preferably RELP, EED, OMLP (GE employees only). Previous electrical engineering and/or controls experience. Previous experience in Wind / Solar. Strong external focus with a passion for quality.
