John Deere Phoenix International is seeking a Manufacturing Test Supervisor to support the multi-shift production operation by maintaining a variety of production test platforms. In this position you will: Plan and assign work to Production Test Support Operations, assuring all quality standards are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Organize test support operations of engineers and technicians to support test equipment on a multi-shift operation. Develop test reports that provide useful management information to improve overall product quality. Maintain test maintenance information that will be used to determine test rebuild, replacement or redesign. Provide product teams with test resources needed to handle abnormal test requirements. Develop preventative maintenance and calibration schedules for all production testers. Manage all human resource requirements for the Production Test department. Duties include measured work performance and overtime support scheduling. Provide design input to Test Development group to improve operator interface, test reliability and address test maintenance issues. Manage day to day and long term project activities of Engineering and Technician staff. Understand core competencies and actively provide vision for use of best practice six sigma tools. Ensure best utilization of resources to support cross-functional quality and product related issues. Knowledge of engineering tools and databases to provide expert technical assistance and review technical feasibility of proposed engineering solutions. Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required. Required Skills and Experience 5+ years manufacturing and/or electronics. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience with Labview. Must be able to provide leadership. Strong personal interaction skills. Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques. Understanding of quality measurements and techniques. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills. Desired Skills and Experience Experience with vision test systems preferred.
