Qualifications/Skills:
* Answering phones, coordinating schedules/meetings/travel, filing, creating phone logs and call sheet and updating contact lists.
* Organizing and maintaining files.
* Managing film submission log, DVD duplication, film library and the internal distribution of films we are reviewing for acquisitions.
* Assist in tracking and researching films in development, production and completed films for acquisitions.
* Coordinating and managing accreditation, travel, accommodations, screenings, meetings and events for film festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, Guadalajara etc.
* Drafting letters and correspondence.
* Creating and maintaining expense reports.
* Assist in project and marketing research including researching actors, singers, directors, pop culture and market trends.
* Set up and coordinate screenings for other department heads.
* Create written coverage for films.
* Interface with other departments and complete errands as needed.
* Requires exceptional oral and written communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to multi-task with a positive, flexible personality and professional demeanor.
* Previous assistant experience and general knowledge of the entertainment industry is required.
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Office skills needed include Word, Excel and PowerPoint and strong research skills.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate required.
