Our client, an international manufacturer with production facilities in Memphis is seeking a Product Support Specialist who will act as liaison with foreign manufacturing and local technical factory managers, for...

* new product development
* existing product improvement
* initial quality testing
* retrofit performance and information
* telephone support with dealers and service centers
* tracking product technical performance via service reports
* identifying serial, technical and service related problems
* prepare management reports for technical management and factory

Spanish or Asian bilingual is a major plus

Your background should include the following:

Troubleshooting - Excellent troubleshooting skills, (3-10 years experience) with document imaging products; examples: copiers, laser printers, multifunctional facsimile, computer peripherals.

Connectivity - Experience connecting products to computers, networks, workstations, etc.

Writing - Good written communications skills for writing narrative reports to executives on technical problems and to prepare written or email bulletins when necessary.

Telephone Support - Verbal capabilities assisting users and service customers on the phone, when necessary, to explain or assess technical problems.

QC Experience - Testing for initial quality on new incoming equipment as well as existing products.

Education - Technical Education degree, or equivalent experience, in electronics, software (MSCE a plus) and connectivity.
