Our Claims Division, centrally located at our corporate headquarters in Salem, employs over 300 professional and technical staff including vocational coordinators, claims adjusters, and nurse consultants. The staff is divided into regional teams in order to best respond to our customers throughout Oregon.

Vocational coordinators are an important part of our claims teams. They assist in managing claims from injured workers by evaluating and managing the vocational aspects of the claim. Vocational coordinators also provide technical support to claims adjusters as well as supervisory and management staff.

Our vocational coordinators receive initial on-the-job training and ongoing training that provide the technical knowledge and consultative skills needed to coordinate professional vocational assistance services for workers’ compensation claims.

Skills:
If you have workers’ compensation claims handling experience or vocational rehabilitation experience that includes assistance with on-the-job injuries, and are interested in joining a dynamic, innovative, collaborative team that genuinely cares about Oregon’s injured workers and employers, we would like to hear from you. The ability to communicate fluently in both in English and Spanish is a plus.
