The Enforcement Specialist position is responsible for initiating enforcement actions for the collection of current child support and child support arrears. The Enforcement Specialist is responsible for working closely with community service providers to refer noncustodial parents needing special assistance for outside services. The Enforcement Specialist must develop strong partnerships with community service providers and assess their ability to provide meaningful assistance to their clients. The Enforcement Specialist uses automated systems for data entry, case tracking and case management as assigned.

Strong applicant will be sensitive to issues related to parenting, social services related dilemmas, and have a clear understanding of custodial and noncustodial parent interaction. Must be motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Competence in areas regarding housing, medical care, and job placement is a bonus. Must be proficient in automated computer systems, mainframe and MS Office applications.

Two years minimum college required and two years experience working with public outreach and/or social work setting preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) a benefit.
