Experienced PHP/MySQL Web Developer

Background:
Corporate Communications, Inc. is a leading full service interactive marketing agency centrally located in Rochester, NY. Founded in 1992, we specialize in the design and development of web based solutions for our nationwide client base.

The agency has an immediate need for an experienced full-time web developer. The new team member will be responsible for the development of web sites and rich internet applications for our growing client base utilizing PHP & MySQL technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years solid experience in database design and dynamic web site development. A strong emphasis will be placed on clean yet creative coding abilities. Additionally, the individual will be required to accurately scope time requirements for projects and then successfully complete required work within the specified time frames.
Qualifications:

* BA/BS preferred
* 2+ years XHTML/Ajax//PHP/MySQL
* 2+ years JavaScript and Advanced CSS implementation
* Expertise dealing with coding incompatibilities between major browsers, cross-platform and backward compatibility issues, and a keen understanding of layout and design optimization techniques
* Ability to analyze and optimize pages and page design based on findings for maximum performance
* Accomplish several simultaneous projects, while maintaining a high level of work quality in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to program quickly and accurately
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong working knowledge of back-end technologies and application servers
* Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
* The desire to learn and stay current with new technologies
* Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups
* Ability to multi-task, problem solve while working in both a team environment and in solo-mode.
* .NET, Cold Fusion & SQL Server experience a plus.
