Is responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. *Define and implement accounting systems and procedures for financial transactions in assigned areas *Adapt these systems and procedures to be compliant with a changing regulatory environment *Implement accounting procedures and systems *Review, and modify accounting reports to ensure accurate communication of financial results to management / stakeholders *Ensure supplementary data is available to meet reporting requirements *Review and prepare accounting records *Ensure timely and accurate reporting internally and externally *Perform account reconciliations Qualifications *Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance *At least 3 years of experience in a financial position Desired *Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial data *Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles *Strong oral and written communication skills *Strong interpersonal and leadership skills *PC proficiency General GE Energy (www.ge.com/energy) electrifies the world by providing reliable, efficient products and services for the energy industry.
