Dental Hygiene Program Director
Requirements:
Must be a dental hygienist who possesses a masters or degree higher or is currently enrolled in a masters or higher degree program, or a dentist who has background in education. Professional experience is necessary to understand and fulfill program goals. Must have current DH or Dental license or ability to obtain one in Pennsylvania. Must have current CPR certification/health care provider, excellent oral and written communications, teaching and or management experience, documentation of course background methodology. Will be responsible for Curriculum development, evaluation and revision, Faculty recruitment, assignments and supervision, Input into faculty evaluation,Initiation of program or department in-service and faculty development,Assessing, planning and operating program facilities, Input into budget preparation and fiscal administration,Coordination, evaluation and participation in determining admission criteria and procedures as well as student promotion and retention criteria.
