Job Title Programmer Analyst Category Information Services Positions Available Site Cooperstown Status FT Shift Days Description Full time, days Responsibilities: Maintains and modifies existing application programs Works on routine, well defined projects related to a single activity or procedure and having some variety and/or moderate difficulty Participates in certain aspects of user counseling, systems analysis, general systems design and may have some vendor contact Responsible for testing, implementation and documentation of the new applications Minimum Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Associates degree with 2yrs relevant hospital experience or High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant hospital experience (The relevant hospital experience would be in one of the following disciplines: patient management, financial and billing, human resources/payroll and clinical systems) Experience Requirements 1 year of relevant programming or commercial report writing (i.e. Crystal) experience New grads with a 4yr degree in computer science may be waived of this requirement GRADE 56 SP For more information, contact Human Resources at 607-547-3120
