Our professional publishing operations provide essential information and expert guidance in business, education, consumer, medical, scientific, and technical fields. The Higher Education division is looking for a Lead Project Manager, Publishing Systems to be based in either the Dubuque, IA or Burr Ridge, IL location. This position will report to the Director of Electronic Publishing and be responsible for participating in the development, implementation and ongoing support of McGraw-Hill Higher Education's digital publishing system which is based on the K4/Adobe Suite. Assist in facilitating the digital publishing transformation across Higher Education's five business units Evaluate incoming projects and on-going request needs. Based on project evaluation lead demonstrations, training, and on-going support as needded. Assist with client installations and upgrades. Manage workflow and best practices as tied to the publishing system, working in collaboration with Editorial, EDP, and Vendor groups. Work cross-functionally to coordinate resources, including: working with vendors for preparation/revisions to file for digital publishing processing and working with DPECM/GPMS groups as needed. Manage overall end-user implementation by coordinating with various departments to assess needs and delivery issues Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (communications, analytical, and interpretative skills are critical) Knowledge of education publishing workflows or textbook publishing. K4/Adobe Suite knowledge a plus. Project management experience. PMP certification a plus. Proficient with Windows and Mac platforms.
